Today, Baba, the ocean of love, the bestower of all treasures and blessings, is celebrating a spiritual meeting with the children who are co-operative and easy yogis and who love all. This meeting of spiritual love – this meeting of the spirits – is unique in the whole kalpa to the Confluence Age. At this time the blessed children receive eternal blessings from the bestower of blessings. BapDada smiles seeing such a spiritual gathering.

BapDada is seeing the innocence of those who attain so much. Those who are ordinary in the world have been made responsible. You have the speciality of knowing the self and the Father – the famous do not have this. Though innocent and ordinary, you claim blessings from the Father, and become worship worthy. Do you have the intoxication of this? Baba creates hope in souls who have no hope. BapDada knows you are the heirs to the kingdom of the world, and Baba loves the souls who love from the heart. Love from the heart is the main foundation for elevated attainment.

The people of the world are still waiting – “when the Father comes…”. You have already found him. This is why he is praised as the lord of the innocents. You special souls have the speciality of being able to recognise. You have recognised, you have attained, so now become the ones with merciful hearts – have mercy on all souls. All souls belong to the unlimited family. Let not a single member of your family be left without receiving blessings.

You are now celebrating the Golden Jubilee. Only a few are up in front as the whole gathering cannot conduct a lecture. But it is only when everyone has a duty that the task can be accomplished. Everyone must become responsible. Wherever you may be, whatever duty you may have, let there be constantly good wishes and elevated feelings for unlimited world benefit. Some will be instruments in corporeal form, some will be instruments through speech, some will be instruments through action, and some will be instruments through the mind. Do not think responsibility means to receive a special duty. Just think ” I must be co-operative”. Waves of happiness, hope and enthusiasm should be spread all around, throughout the world. Spread the wave of happiness that the Golden Age is about to come. Create hope for an elevated future in souls who are fearful. This is golden service for the Golden Jubilee. Have the aim to be real gold by moulding yourself to every task. Make effort with love. Prepare the land. There is always elevated fruit in pure feelings. Achcha.

A very great meeting has been celebrated. But time is limited. There is no limit to time in the subtle regions.

To those souls who have the right to self sovereignty and the kingdom of the world, who maintain a constant and unlimited attitude for unlimited service; to the special, elevated souls who constantly extend spiritual love and hope and enthusiasm, and who are like the Father; to such souls love, remembrance, and namaste from the spiritual Father.

Brahma has been remembered as the great great grandfather. The incorporeal father has made Brahma the instrument responsible for the creation of the corporal world. He is the creator of the human world, and the memorial of this has been shown in the form of the tree. The seed is incognito. First there are two shoots and the trunk emerges from this. Adi Dev and Adi Devi, the form of the mother and father, are the foundation of the tree, and Brahma is the instrument for this. It is through him that the trunk of Brahmins emerges. Innumerable other branches then emerge from the trunk of Brahmins. This is why Brahma has been remembered as the great great grandfather.

When Brahma incarnates, bad days finish and great days begin. The night finishes and the holy time of Brahma begins (Brahma muharat – the hours of the brahm element – also known as the early morning hours). Although they say “the hours of the brahm element” it is in fact “the time of Brahma”. This is why Brahma has been shown in a mature form.

The incorporeal Father and the grandfather give you grandchildren so many gifts which last for 21 births. He is the bestower of wisdom. He gives you tray-fulls of the jewels of knowledge. He gives you the golden gift of all the powers in an unlimited form. He gives jewellery boxes full with all virtues to you. How many boxes of decorations do you have? Wear new decorations every day and they would not be used up. These gifts will always stay with you. Physical gifts will be left here, but these gifts will go with you. You will not need to work for a living – you will be able to live on these Godly gifts – you will be liberated from all labour.

Everyone has come especially to celebrate Christmas Day. BapDada calls it Kismis (raisins) day – the day of sweetness. Everyone enjoys eating and sharing sweets and you can sweeten someone’s lips in this way for a short while. But if you become sweet yourself, then sweet words will emerge form your lips constantly. Everyone is happy eating and sharing sweet things – in the same way sweet words bring happiness to the self as well as others. So, constantly sweeten everyone’s lips in this way – let your vision, words, and actions always be sweet. This is the way to celebrate Kismis day. To celebrate means to become.

Give everyone sweet drishti for just two moments – speak a few sweet words and that soul will be filled for all time – their world will be transformed – those two sweet words will become instruments for change for all time. The inculcation of sweetness is so special that it can even transform a “bitter land” into a sweet one. Baba transformed all of you with two sweet words (ie in Hindi): you are a sweet and a pure soul. Sweeten everyone’s lips in this way. Always keep this gift of sweetness with you.

Achcha. To those who fill the apron of the intellect with the jewels of knowledge – who are always full of all powers, and constantly decorated with the jewellery of all virtues, and so are elevated souls – to such sweet children who have constant sweetness and sweeten everyone’s lips – BapDada’s love, remembrance, and namaste.

Avyakt BapDada 23rd December 1985

Filed under: Summaries — themurli @ 1:00 am

BapDada is seeing his elevated happy little world. On the one hand there is the very huge world without any taste, and on the other hand there is this happy little world. The Brahmin souls in this happy world are completely and constantly full with peace and happiness. On the basis of purity and cleanliness there is the experience of a life of happiness and peace. There can be no trace of even the words sorrow and peacelessness when there is purity and cleanliness. This happy little world is within the fortress of purity. If even a thought goes outside the fort of purity then sorrow and peacelessness will be experienced. If the foot of the intellect remains within the fort then there cannot be any wave of sorrow or peacelessness in thoughts or even in dreams. If there is the slightest experience of sorrow or peacelessness then there has definitely been some form of impure influence. Purity isn’t just a case of conquering lust – all forms of limited desire must be conquered.

There are many desires. First the desire for possessions. Secondly the desire for limited attainment from human beings. Third the many limited desires relating to fulfilment of relationships. Fourth there can be limited desires in service. To conquer all these desires means to finish sorrow and peacelessness for all time. If the intellect is attracted by any perishable object this is an indication that there is still a form of desire, that is, attachment. The words are changed into a royal form and it is said “I don’t have a desire, but I like this”. But whether it refers to an object or an individual, if there is any special attraction, if the object or individual is liked, then that is also a desire. To feel that everything and everyone is good is accurate, but to feel that “I like this one” or “this thing” is inaccurate. This is a royal form of desire.

It may be that you like the way in which someone does service, or the way someone gives sustenance. Or you may like someone’s virtues, or the hard work they do. You may like someone’s renunciation or their nature. To take the fragrance of that goodness and imbibe it within the self is one thing, but because of that goodness, to say that this is the only one who is good, changes that appreciation into desire. That desire divorces the soul from becoming good itself.

Another aspect of desire which brings the soul down is animosity. One form of desire is being impressed, and on the other side is the desire that creates a feeling of jealousy or animosity.
Both desires finish peace and happiness and bring upheaval to the mind. Being impressed brings attachment and the soul comes under the influence of the other. A sign of jealousy and animosity is stubbornness in attempting to prove oneself to be right. Such desires use up much time and energy and the soul doesn’t realise it at that moment. Both aspects cause so much damage that the soul causes distress to others also – the soul takes sorrow and gives sorrow – the foot of the intellect has stepped outside the world of happiness and peace.

So, defeat these royal desires as well. Come to the stage where you are ignorant of what these desires are about. When there are thoughts in either of these two negative areas, so that you say “I will show them” then who will you show? Baba or the Brahmin family? Who will you show? Recognise that you will not be doing something or showing something, you will simply be displaying your own fall. Thinking “I will do this service and show others, I will glorify my name and show others” – this is the intoxication of limited attainment – you will not show a wonder, but a fall. Are these words royal? This is Maya putting on the mask of a lion, but she has influenced the soul and made it a goat! This isn’t cleverness – it is the way to be defeated every kalpa and prevented from entering the sun dynasty – it is to belong to the moon dynasty. Where there is the consciousness of “I” it means the soul has been possessed by some form of limited desire. So let the words you speak be accurate (yukti-yukt) and let your feelings also be completely accurate. Allow neither arrogance nor disregard to come, even the slightest traces of them, because such feelings take you far from the pure feeling of good wishes, and the consciousness of self respect. Self respect moves you away from desires and then you swing in the world of constant happiness and peace – this is the stage of the one who has conquered all desires, the one who has conquered the world.

So, BapDada was seeing the tiny, happy world. Why allow the foot of the intellect to step away from your own land into a foreign land? The religion of the external, the land outside, cases you sorrow. The religion of the eternal self and of your original land is that which gives you happiness. You are the children of the Ocean of Happiness, souls who have claimed these rights, and so remain constantly happy and constantly peaceful. So take your rights and leave behind your weaknesses. Achcha.

To those who constantly live in the world of happiness; to those who have conquered desires; to those elevated souls who constantly have good wishes and pure thoughts for all other souls; to those who are constantly stable on the seat of self respect; to such special souls, BapDada’s love, remembrance, and namaste.

(teachers)

The goddess of contentment is worshipped the most. Why do they worship this goddess? Because in today’s world there is a great deal of tension – there are many problems so discontent and tension is increasing. So you must become jewels of contentment and give the light of contentment to others. First you must remain content with yourself, and then you can be content in service, and then you can be also content with your companions and in all relationships. Only then will you be called the jewel of contentment.

It is also important to become an instrument. Greatness is equal to humility. A tree that is full of fruits will bow down – the one who has humility is able to enjoy immediate fruit. Achcha.

Avyakt BapDada 19th December 1985

BapDada is celebrating a meeting with the loving children and giving love in return. BapDada is bodiless – he takes the support of a body to make the children bodiless also. When BapDada comes into the body he retains the bodiless stage, giving others the experience of this stage. In the same way all of you can stabilise your consciousness as bodiless souls while in the body, and work through the body to perform actions. In order to follow the Father you must keep your intellect stable on two level of consciousness. Shiva is stable in the bodiless stage, the incorporeal stage. Brahma constantly has the ethereal (akari) consciousness. So stabilise yourself in both these stages of consciousness and follow the Father. Don’t come down into the consciousness of the gross body, the consciousness of humans – these pull the souls down.

Don’t allow any thoughts or dreams to pull you into descent. BapDada has drawn the lines clearly – don’t go outside any line. If there is disobedience, there is distress, and then repentance also. To easily maintain the stage of constant respect and to experience constant attainment, follow the Father. The alokic and the parlokik fathers give you this easy method.

The soul of Brahma in the corporeal form became the instrument to teach you how to perform karma. He is a souls who has completed the full cycle of 84 births. His corporeal life showed you how to be liberated while performing karma; how to be free from the bondage of karma while fulfilling the responsibility of the relationships of karma; how to stay in the body and yet remain in a bodiless state of consciousness; how to be free of bodily bonds by keeping the mind lost in the intoxication of love of One; how to use every penny of wealth in a worthwhile cause. A soul caught in bond of karma became the example and became karmateet. It is easy to follow that corporeal life, is it not? The answer to your questions about the body, relationships or wealth, can be seen in the life of Brahma Baba. Scientists today look to computers for answers. They think that which has been created is more accurate than the ones who created it. But for those of silence, the life of Brahma is an accurate computer, replacing questions with answers. Questions mean upheaval in the intellect – the very sign of a question is crooked. Contentment means a dot – there is nothing crooked in a dot – it appears the same from any direction – it is simple.

So follow Brahma the father in the corporeal form, or follow Brahma the father in the subtle form, or follow Shiv Baba. The words are the same – follow the father.

The corporeal form of Brahma shows the corporeal world the way. None of you call yourselves Shiv kumars – you are called Brahma kumars and kumaris. It is Brahma who becomes an example of living an elevated life while in corporeal form, as well as being the instrument responsible for the corporeal creation. This is why, although Shiv Baba is called the Satguru, the title ‘guru’ is also used for one who teaches, and it is Brahma who has been the instrument responsible to teach the entire world. Therefore you have to follow in every action. Brahma is called the Jagatguru because of this. This is why they give salutations to Brahma, the father of the world – they give him the title of Jagatpita. They don’t call Vishnu or Shankar the ‘Father of the People’. They also use this term ‘Pati’ in the sense of being the lord and master, because while he is the Father and is loved by the world, yet he is also detached from the world to an equal extent. And now he is teaching you in the avyakt form so that you may follow and create the avyakt stage of consciousness. Do you understand? There is no other soul who has this stage of detachment to the same extent.

The body has been taken on loan and must be taken care of. A good master uses the body according to its capacity, and according to place. Some children ask why this chariot in particular has been chosen – even this one (Gulzar bhen) had the same question – just as Brahma did not know the story of his own birth, she has forgotten her own blessing. This was the special blessing given to the child of sakar Baba at the very beginning of the part of having trance visions. This soul played the part of having visions at the very beginning, with Brahma Baba. He sat in tapasya, in solitude, and saw the child’s easy going nature and innocent life. And on seeing these specialities he gave the blessing that as she progressed further the child would continue to be the companion of Baba, and would look after his duty and become equal – the child would play a part in service equal to Brahma Baba’s. That blessing became her line of fortune and so she played the part of becoming equal by becoming the chariot. BapDada congratulates the child for playing that part. There has been the power of adjustment over such a long time, and that speciality of adjustment has been the gift that has given the lift. Yet still BapDada has to be concerned about the body. The musical organ is old and the ones who are using it are very powerful. Although there is the lesson of ‘haji’ (saying yes) and it is still moving well, yet BapDada has to use it in the right way and with precision. There is the promise to meet, but the method of meeting will have to change accordingly with time.

To those who are easy effort makers and follow the father in all aspects; to those who are constantly contented special souls; to those who constantly work through the instrument of the body and make it perform karma; to the master creator children; to the children who respond with their lives to BapDada’s love; to such children, love and remembrances filled with all affection, and namaste.

Avyakt BapDada 16th December 1985

Filed under: Summaries — themurli @ 1:00 am

Today, BapDada is seeing his numerous arms. Every soul performs karma with its arms. Arms are also the sign of co-operation. A co-operative soul is called a right arm or right hand. The arm, and its instrument the hand, are the sign of love – this is why people shake hands when they meet. Arms can also symbolise power.

All of you are Baba’s arms. Are you right or left arms? To what extent have you revealed practically each one of Baba’s elevated thoughts and words? Actions are very easily seen. The right arms reveal baba through every action they perform – their actions are always pure and elevated. The right arms also act more quickly than the left. Only the highest of instruments can reveal the Father, the highest on high. To reveal Baba through spiritual vision, or the happiness of spirituality, is also karma. Do you perform such elevated karma?

Are you constantly co-operative? There is a difference between those who co-operate sometimes and those who always co-operate – some work part time and others work full time! Be always co-operative in body, mind and wealth. Spend your time, thoughts, and wealth on Baba’s task, and not on the body or on bodily relations. Just as there is a large household of bodily relations, so also the household of your own body is very long and complicated – some children spend more time, thoughts and wealth on their body rather than on the Godly task. The household of the body is a huge net, but a right arm will stay beyond that net. Be detached from both households, and engage yourself lovingly in the Father’s task.

The third aspect of the arms is love. Love means meeting. Just as souls in bodily costumes meet by shaking hands, so too the one who is the right hand and arm has a meeting in thoughts, words and sanskars – their thoughts will be Baba’s thoughts. Baba has no waste thoughts, and so his thoughts are always powerful. Baba’s words are always sweet and constantly bestow happiness – they are always supreme words and never ordinary. And so let there be words of the subtle consciousness of the soul, and never of gross consciousness. This is the sign of love, that is, the meeting. In the same way, let the sankars meet: Baba’s sanskars are of generosity, of altruism, of giving benefit. These will be the sanskars of the right arm. To be equal in this way means to be loving.

Your thoughts, vision, and attitude should be powerful. Powerful thoughts transform others and create an elevated world. With your vision you can give others the experience of the form of the bodiless soul. So are you such powerful arms, or weak ones? If there is weakness then you are on the left side.

So now you know what is meant by right arm and right hand. All of you are arms, but recognise for yourself which quality of arm you are. Know exactly who you are and what you are, because there is still a little time left to transform yourself. Don’t allow arrogance or carelessness to bite you. Keep checking yourself accurately – only through this can you progress.

To those who always think of the the eternal self for self transformation; to those who check themselves and fill themselves with all specialities; to those who are detached from the households of the body and of bodily relations; to those who are engaged with love in Baba’s task; to those who are constantly liberated from arrogance and carelessness; to such intense effort makers, elevated souls, BapDada’s love, remembrance, and namaste.

Today, Baba, the creator of the world, is seeing his master creator children – and the extent to which you are stable in the awareness of being creators. Your first creation is to master your body. Only the will you master matter and master the world.

Your present life mirrors your future very clearly. The sanskars of authority over bodily relations become the sanskars of mastery of the future. A master is detached and yet loving in relationships. The signs of a master are humility, good wishes for others, and the ability to renew sanskars. Through your love, whoever sees you should feel you belong to them. The love should give closeness in even a distant relationship. They should experience you to be a bestower of love, peace, happiness, bliss, joy ,co-operation, courage, hope, and enthusiasm, and every other speciality. You will have a large, generous heart.

Madhuban residents are carefree in many matters whilst those who live outside still have to work hard – to earn and feed oneself is no meagre task. BapDada knows that those who live in households have to tolerate many things and also have to face many things. Swans living amongst storks are uplifting themselves and moving forward.

BapDada has the elevated aim that all children become equal to the Father. Be content and make others content. First be content with yourself in terms of your real, original form, and then give this contentment to others. Contentment includes many things. Don’t be disturbed and don’t disturb others. Protect yourself and move a way from the fire. Do not look at others, but see yourself. Achcha.

Avyakt BapDada 11th December 1985

Filed under: Summaries — themurli @ 1:00 am

Today, BabDada is seeing three specialities of each loving child, and to what extent each has become complete with these three specialities. The specialities are love, natural yoga (co-operation), and power – being a a living moving lighthouse and might house. These three should be clear to others in your thoughts, words, and actions.

They should experience waves of love coming from you, the master oceans of love, just as they experience coolness and peace on the shores of the natural ocean. You should fill the atmosphere with the fragrance of spiritual love. Baba knows you all have love for him, but now love has to radiate into the world, so that every soul can experience its fragrance. You should have love for all and it should be constant. The heart is disenchanted with selfish love, having seen it again and again. Spiritual love is the support of life.

On the path of bhakti, they speak to take something, but here you speak to give. People meeting you should experience and take away the real wealth of knowledge, love, yoga power, co-operation and the other powers. This is true service. Those who bestow in this way will always progress. So be co-operative and a natural yogi in this way. Real co-operation is unlimited, so help everyone, not just one or two.

Use all the powers, not just for the self, but for the service of others. The light and might of your tolerance should reach others, as should all the powers. A lighthouse gives light to others, and shows them the path. They will experience moving out of the darkness of weakness, and into the light of power, through your help. Their connection will be with the father, but you will be the instrument responsible. But don’t entangle the soul in yourself – Baba should be visible through every action and every word – if they see you and not Baba then that is not service, but you will be making them fall. If the Father is not there there is definitely sin. So be a true server and link others with the truth, point them to the Father.

To those who are constant bestowers and fill every soul; to those who use every treasure they have received from the Father in service; to those who are stable and move forward at every moment; to those who always signal towards One and are the true servers of all; to each such child of BapDada’s, love, remembrance, and namaste.

Avyakt BapDada 9th December 1985

Filed under: Summaries — themurli @ 1:00 am

Today, BapDada is watching his powerful spiritual army, observing how far they have become conqueror of the mind, conqueror of the world. To conquer the mind means to conquer waste thoughts and negative thoughts. The more you are able to keep your mind under control, the more you become worthy to claim the kingdom of the world.

Now you are the children of God. The children of God will become masters of the world. You have to renounce limited mastery and adopt the consciousness of being a child. Such a child becomes a master. On the path of bhakti they always say “we are your children” but they never say “we are masters”. You Brahmin children are Baba’s children and now you are carefree kings, and in future you become emperors and masters of the world. This consciousness of being “child to master” brings the experience of being always egoless and incorporeal.

To become a child means to transform the limited life. When you became a Brahmin you learnt to say “Baba” and the father said “bachcha” (child). The lesson of just this one word “child” makes you full of knowledge, not just of this world, but the three worlds. Everything is contained in the phrase “father and child”. Just as an entire tree is merged within the seed, a child of Baba is safe from maya forever. Constant remembrance is constant safety.

You are still living in the old body, but cremate your old sanskars. Cremate your old nature. Don’t let a ghost reappear. To say “these are my old sanskars ” is to cheat yourself. If you like old things then remember the original, the oldest sanskars, of the beginning. Become a child and you will will naturally remember being a master. To become a child means to unload the burden, to be light.

To those who always have the spiritual intoxication of being a child and master, the awareness of being a carefree king: love, remembrances, and namaste from BapDada.

Avyakt BapDada 4th December 1985

Filed under: Summaries — themurli @ 1:00 am

Today, there are two gatherings of loving children in front of BapDada – children present in corporeal form, and children present in avyakt form. Children have taken their subtle forms and have come from all directions to celebrate a meeting with Baba, the Ocean of Love. They are revealing their love before BapDada. Listening to the different feelings of their hearts, Baba is hearing the children saying the sweetest things, while claiming their rights, on the basis of the relationship of love.

BapDada listens to the heart in three ways – the language of the eyes, the language of feelings, and the language of thoughts. The language of lips is ordinary, but the language of spiritual life takes three forms. The spiritual children and the spiritual father understand and experience this. The more you stabilise yourself in sweet silence, by turning inwards, the more you will be able to give other souls that experience through these three powerful divine languages.

The language of lips is limited and takes time, but through the language of the eyes you can simply give a signal. The language of the feelings is clearly revealed on the face – you can clearly see whether they have love, animosity, or selfishness. Their feelings speak through their features. The language of thoughts is the most elevated language, because the power of thought is the most elevated power, the foundation of all powers. The language of thought travels fastest of all, and distance is no barrier. Ultimately it is the language of thought that will be useful. When all instruments of science have failed, then you will use this instrument of silence.

But the line has to be kept clear. Practice keeping yourself constantly busy thinking of the one father, the knowledge from that one, and the service you do with that knowledge. The line will be kept clear with these elevated thoughts. Wasteful thoughts are disturbing: the more you finish waste, and the more there is only powerful thoughts, the clearer will be the experience of the elevated language of thoughts.

The language of thoughts can give you a greater experience than the language of lips, and instantaneously. The essence of a three minute lecture can be shared within a second through the language of thoughts. The language of introspective souls is divine.

The three spiritual languages require less labour and less time, and they produce more success. So practice using spiritual language.

BapDada is merging the children’s love into the ocean of love. In return for the remembrances of all he gives elevated blessings: may you become the form of your remembrance, and may you be constantly powerful. Baba’s pure wishes are the pure desires of all the children. At present the pure desires and pure feelings are to give co-operation. All your pure wishes will be fulfilled.

Sometimes as the children move along, old karmic accounts come in front of them as tests. Sometimes there is sickness of the body, sometimes storms of upheaval in the mind, or in relationships. Even souls who are very close come into some light forms of conflict. But these old accounts just come to be settled, so don’t be disturbed. Let the intellect be very powerful and settle the old debt. Experience settlement, not punishment. If the intellect lacks power, then a burden will be felt, there will be misjudgement, and the soul starts to go down. Instead of the debt being settled, it continues and even increases. So, to settle old debts, keep the intellect constantly clear and light. The burden is waste thoughts of “why?”, “what?”, and “maybe”. Be double light, and not double burdened with both past accounts and waste thoughts. Finish the burden of the intellect forever. Keep your intellect light through the power of yoga.

The Lord is pleased with a true heart. The soul with a true heart always experiences satisfaction and contentment, and will be successful in service.

To those children in all directions who are constantly experiencing self progress, BapDada is giving blessings: may this continue. BapDada is giving greetings to all the children: may you be constantly victorious in your life’s elevated efforts. Love, remembrances, and namaste.

Avyakt BapDada 2nd December 1985

Filed under: Summaries — themurli @ 1:00 am

Tody BapDada is seeing the power of spirituality in His spiritual children. Every child is a spiritual child and so has complete right to spiritual power from the spiritual father. Baba was seeing to what extent souls have become the embodiment of this attainment. Every day the spiritual father give love and remembrances. All children calling themselves spiritual children give the reply of “namaste” or “love and remembrances” ether through their lips or through their mind. The return is given, the words are repeated, but the significance of this is that every day the spiritual Father calls you his spiritual children to remind you of your true spiritual power. It is with this power of spirituality that you transform yourself and all others. The main foundation is spiritual power. This power liberates you from numerous physical bonds.

In the creation of the world, three tasks are essential: establishment, sustenance, and destruction. So too, liberation from all bonds requires three aspects of spiritual power: thought, words, and action. There has to be the experience of spirituality in all three. If the soul is skillful and accurate in all three, then it is jeevanmukt (liberated in life).

BapDada is seeing the subtle bonds that these three aspects are connected to: a soul in bondage is constantly under the influence of others, constantly dependant. They will not experience constant inner happiness. In the world outside temporary supports supports can give temporary happiness, but not eternal happiness. In Brahmin life a soul caught in bondage will experience joy for a short time through the support of service, or through the support of the power of the gathering, or the support of some elevated attainment, or the support of elevated company. While there is support there is happiness, but when the support finishes, the happiness also finishes, and there is not a constant stage of stability. Sometimes they dance with such happiness that it seems no-one is equal to them. But when they stop. a little stone is as bad as a mountain. There isn’t the original power.. They danced with happiness on the basis of external support, so when the support is removed, how can they dance? So internal spiritual power is essential in all three aspects.

The main bondage is that the soul lacks the power to control thoughts, and so is in bondage to its own thoughts. There is the experience of dependance and outside influence. The souls remains busy in its own thought for a long time. They build imaginary castles, and then pull them down. A huge, high wall is built, and so there is the expression “building castles in the air”. In bhakti they worship images, decorate them, and go and drown them. In the same way a soul caught in the bondage of many thoughts creates many things, destroys them, and tires itself in this wasteful activity. Then the heart shrinks and loses hope. Sometimes there is even arrogance, and one’s own mistakes are blamed on others. The most bitter bondage is the bondage of the mind, because the intellect is locked, and they will not understand even if you try explaining to them.

The speciality of the confluence age is to swing in the swing of supersensuous joy, to dance constantly with happiness. If there is bondage of the mind, the power of realisation finishes, and there cannot be this experience of supersensuous joy. This is the sign of subtle bondage of the mind.

There may be bondage to waste thoughts, to thoughts of jealousy and conflict, thoughts of carelessness or laziness. So today Baba was seeing these bondages, seeing how many liberated souls there are. The thick ropes are finished, but the subtle threads remain – they are thin but they are good at tying you. At such times the soul doesn’t know it is tied, because the bondage brings temporary intoxication. Someone physically intoxicated might be unaware of having fallen, he may be in a gutter, yet thinks he is in a palace – his hands are empty but he thinks he is a king. Someone with temporary intoxication never considers themselves to be wrong – they constantly try to prove they are right. Or they are careless and allow it to continue, saying “oh well, such things always happen”.

Only the bondage of thought has been mentioned today. Bondage of words and actions will be taken up another time.

Continue to experience freedom through spiritual power. To experience jeevanmukti at the Confluence Age is to claim jeevanmukti for the future. No prepare yourselves quickly. Others are liberated through your liberation.

Scientists are trapped in bondage to their equipment. Political leaders want freedom, but have so many thoughts they cannot fulfil. Some want liberation from poverty, some liberation from the household, but the sound from everyone is the same. Everyone is crying out for liberation. So be bestowers and show others the path to liberation.

Perhaps you think this is the Fathers task? It is you, not the Father, who are to claim the reward. It is you, not Baba, who want subjects and devotees. In the copper age you will be the first devotees to worship the Father, and whatever you do, others will follow. So listen to their cries now, and bestow liberation. Achcha.

To those who attain liberation on the basis of spiritual power; those who free themselves from subtle bonds and become bestowers of liberation, who constantly experience internal joy and supersensory happiness, and enable others to move forward; those who constantly have the pure desire to grant liberation to all other souls; to those souls with such spiritual power, BapDada’s love, remembrance, and namaste.
